Is Black Ltd. Radio a "real Station"?
Yes. Black Ltd. Radio is licensed and registered to play all genres of music and does report to royalty collection agencies.
If I don't have management, how do I get paid?
Some other performance royalty sources, including internet radio, do pay performers and sound recording copyright owners. If you are a recording artist or copyright owner, you should register with SoundExchange to collect royalties from these sources.
What is Radio Airplay?
Radio airplay is considered a public performance. Public performances generate performance royalties for songwriters, which are collected by the PROs (ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC). In the US, terrestrial broadcasters (AM or FM stations) do not pay performers or sound recording copyright owners; they only pay the songwriters.

What is a press kit?
Most press kits include several basic elements that will help people get to know you quickly.
- Write a cover letter. This should be addressed to the person to whom you're submitting your music. Include your contact information, any webpages (YouTube, Facebook, website, etc.) that you have, and basic information about your music (genre, themes, etc.).
- Write a short biography. This should be a short description of you (or your band, if you have one) and your accomplishments so far. You can talk about your influences and interests here, but keep this part story-oriented. Consider it like your introduction to a new friend.[5]
- Create a "fact sheet." This should include the essential information about you: name, style of music, other artists/bands you are similar to, instrumentation, etc.
Do I need a Press Kit?
You should always submit a press kit with your music when submitting for air play on BLACK LTD RADIO.
How can I get my podcast on your station?
Reach out via email and give the program director a link to your RSS feed. Being picked up by Black Ltd Radio station is as simple as that. The station grabs your latest episode and plays it at a designated time. To stream a live feed to the station for a live broadcast please contact.
How can I perform at one of your events?
Please contact one of our the talent scouts affiliated with Black Ltd Radio for invite to perform at any event and or all events. All RSVP submissions are eligible for special invite to perform at any all events.
