SiSi-Jo, (born Simona Joseph) grew up between the islands of Barbados, St. Lucia and the cities of Virginia Beach and Brooklyn, which has helped her develop into a versatile young R&B/ Neo-Soul/Reggae singer / songwriter with inspiration drawn from life. With a dream to make the world sing, dance, cry, forgive and fall in love to/with her music, this 25 yr old is multi-cultured, multi-talented, passionate and ready to change the world one song at a time. When asked what inspires her, her only answer is “Life. If anything, it gives you that much… take it!”

The journey began in church where SiSi began exploring her vocal talents at the age of 12. She was part of the choir in which she felt at home singing alto. However there were opportunities when she performed as a soloist, and her vocal abilities were put to the challenge. After some vocal training, she was approached by a fellow musician about taking her talent to the next level where she went on to write and co-produce a series of records and worked with local gospel artist Dana along with producers Duane Scantlebury and David Thomas to produce her first R&B records penned "Who Will it be" and "Still Need You Now". SiSi then went on to record “Give it to me” with Mr. Strategy (Triple E studios) and “Beautiful King” written by and featuring Black Panther (Jamaica). As a solo artist and song-writer, SiSi has collaborated with BBM Studios (NYC), Tropical Heat Records (Jamaica), Triple E Studios (Barbados), Hit Island Studios (Barbados), Orange Cloud Studios (Barbados) and Firebird Productions (Barbados), and the collaboration requests are still coming in. After making her first official performance stamp, while sharing a stage with Jamaican Superstars Konshens and Mr. Vegas at the 2010 and 2011 International Reggae Festival in Barbados, she has “hit the ground running”!

Over the years SiSi-Jo has shown that she has the work ethic, inspiration and talent to take her to the top. Now, with new management, Dae Black (Excabalah Enterprizes L.L.C) (NYC) and three (3) certified hit promo singles “This is SiSi”, “The Morning After” and “International” in heavy rotation on the island’s hottest radio stations, there’s nothing stopping her! A combination of smooth vocals, skilful writing abilities, passion for music, undeniable beauty and unforgettable persona, SiSi-Jo is the one to look out for, not only on the local music scene but soon to be on the international music platform as well.
